EWU Rideshare:
As part of EWU’s on going commitment to sustainability, EWU partners with Spokane Transit Authority to provide convenient ways for groups of three or more people to commute together and save money and reduce our carbon footprint.
Eagle Services pays the monthly fare based on where the Rideshare starts and ends.
Note: Availability is subject to funding and vehicle resources.
Eligibility:
- Find at least three and up to 14 other people who share a similar commute and work schedule.
- Participants must be fulltime employees of EWU who have obtained their EagleCard.
- Two participants must be driver eligible. (current unrestricted drivers’ license report and training required)
- One must be a bookkeeper who submits monthly ridership online.
- 2 or more individuals in the group must live 2 miles or more outside of the nearest bus stop or nearest park & ride.
- If ridership drops below the required three group membership, a grace period of one month is allowed to add additional group members. Otherwise, the rideshare would no longer be eligible.
