Sandra Espinoza has just returned from the Diversity Research Symposium at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. She presented her research: Hermeneutical Phenomenological Analysis of Intracultural Bullying Between Mexican Americans and Mexican Immigrants. The theme for this symposium was Creating Brave Spaces for Inclusion, Equity, and Justice. Congratulations Sandra!
Arie Gurin will be traveling to Salt Lake City, Utah to present their research at the Society for Advancement of Chicanos/Hispanics and Native Americans in Science (SACNAS), the largest diversity in STEM conference in the country. What an incredible opportunity! Congratulations!

EWU McNair Scholar, Michelle Abunaja, has received the College of Business and Public Administration Deans Leadership Endowed Scholarship for $3,500 and the Len Zickler Scholarship for $1,000. She also won the Undergraduate Level Professional Achievement Award. That’s amazing Michelle! Congrats!
