Alice Chamberlin

Alice Chamberlin is an Honors student majoring in Biochemistry. She is also a member of the dean’s list and EWU’s Mathematics, Engineering, and Science Achievement (MESA) program, a state-funded initiative to diversify the STEM workforce so that it reflects the talents and diversity of Washington’s population. Alice is an active member of the STEM student senate, advocating for student voices in STEM.

Alice was accepted into the EWU TRIO McNair Program in 2025 as well as to Penn State’s Summer Research Opportunities Program (SROP). This SROP is run by the Big Ten Academic Alliance universities in order to increase the pursuit of graduate studies and research careers by underrepresented students.

Her research interests include environmental chemistry and medical research, and she plans to pursue a graduate degree in chemistry after graduation.
