TILT

January 13 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Thanks for joining the TILT (Transparency in Learning and Teaching) discussion a few weeks ago! Because you attended that session, you are invited to the second event in our three-part TILT series: a hands-on assignment charrette. This short document feedback activity is designed to help you identify where you can improve your assignment’s transparency, and all you need to do is bring one assignment (no prior revision needed)  and be ready to receive and give feedback. Our hour-long session will be a Zoom-only event on Monday, January 13th, at noon. If you are interested but not able to attend this discussion, please know that there will be asynchronous resources available soon to support your TILT efforts.

In the spirit of transparency, I recorded a short video that provides some details about the event and your preparation. I am also happy to provide any additional information and answer questions. Please reach out to me: Angela B Rasmussen at angela.rasmussen@scc.spokane.edu.

Note from Faculty Commons: Faculty who participate in all 3 of the EWU workshops presented by Angela Rasmussen will receive a certificate in TILT to add to your personal faculty development or teaching portfolio. Subject to the policies & procedures of your department(s) and college(s), and to the CBA, earning this certificate may count towards tenure and promotion. If you wish it to count and your Faculty Activity Plan (FAP) does not yet have language to accommodate it, you can modify your FAP. FAPs can be modified at the faculty’s initiative. (CBA 7.4.4.)
