GrantForward is an app to search for external funding opportunities. GrantForward uses specialized data-crawling technology to constantly update an extensive database of sponsors and funding opportunities, allowing thousands of grant opportunities to be gathered from more than 30,000 sponsors. All EWU faculty, staff, and administrators will automatically have access to GrantForward.
• Go to https://www.grantforward.com/
• Click on “Sign Up” in top righthand corner.
• Enter your EWU email address. Click “Login.”
• A new page will appear. Do not enter a password. Instead, click “Go” next to “Use Single-Sign-On for [Eastern Washington University].”
• You should now be in your GrantForward account.
• Bookmark https://www.grantforward.com/
• Hover over “Researchers” in the Menu bar and click “My Profile”
• Click “Edit This Profile”
• Edit all appropriate fields. The more information you provide, the better the algorithm will be.
• Note: Until approximately mid-November, GrantForward is undergoing a major profile update. Users will not be able to update their profiles until this update is complete.
• Hover over “Grants” in the Menu bar and click on “Search Grant Opportunities.”
• Use filters to narrow search.
• Click “Save/Load” to save searches and receive automatic notifications.
