EWU is transitioning to a new, streamlined system for grant proposal approvals and routing: Cayuse.

Cayuse replaces all previous internal approval forms, including:
- Pre-Proposal Form
- Institutional Approval Form
- Conflicts of Interest Form
- Certifications & Assurances Form
Completing and routing the Cayuse form serves the same purpose as all prior forms—just in one integrated system.
What You’ll Need
Much like the previous approval process, you will still need to upload:
- A final budget using the EWU budget template
- A project summary with enough detail for your department chair and college dean to review and sign off
You will use your EWU Email address to log in!
