Nicole Nemeth, a first-generation student, has been selected as the recipient of the Martin and Helen Terzieff Scholarship. This distinguished endowment, established to honor the legacy of Martin Jordan Terzieff, a dedicated career educator, and Helen Urquhart Terzieff, a compassionate nurse, aims to support students in nursing who demonstrate both academic excellence and strong character.
Nicole is currently pursuing a major in nursing with a minor in psychology at EWU. In addition to her rigorous coursework, she was accepted into the prestigious McNair Scholars Program in the winter of 2023. Nicole is working toward a specialization in nurse anesthesia, reflecting her commitment to advancing healthcare and serving her community.
Beyond her academic achievements, Nicole is passionate about the arts. She enjoys drawing and writing and aspires to publish her own books in the future. Her dedication to both her studies and creative pursuits exemplifies the values celebrated by the Terzieff Scholarship.
