As a Marketing & Data Analytics Intern at Nuestras Raíces Centro Comunitario, Christopher Nava plays a vital role in advancing the organization’s mission to support the Hispanic/Latine community. In this position, he builds and manages the data and communication systems that underpin a range of cultural, youth, and behavioral health programs. Christopher’s technical expertise is central to his work. He develops SharePoint structures, Excel tracking tools, and custom macros for processes such as client intake, ITIN applications, service hours, workshop attendance, and youth participation. Beyond building these systems, he also cleans and analyzes datasets, equipping leadership with key insights to evaluate program outcomes and identify service gaps.
In addition to his data responsibilities, Christopher contributes to the organization’s outreach by designing bilingual flyers, creating social media content, and developing branding materials. He establishes marketing protocols that guide staff in the design and distribution of outreach materials, and coordinates timelines for community events and campaigns to maximize impact and engagement. Christopher’s contributions extend to strategic projects, such as the Cultural & Behavioral Health Center Feasibility Study. For this initiative, he conducts benchmarking research, drafts sections on community need, land use, zoning, and economic projections, and prepares content for board presentations.
