Edgar Acosta

Edgar Acosta is a first-generation college student majoring in general psychology and criminal justice with a minor in Spanish. He will be graduating in fall of 2026.

Through his academic career he has made the dean’s list a couple of times. 

He would like to contribute to the knowledge of criminal thought for purposes of preventing crime, finding perpetrators, and potential interventions to heal or reform those who’ve committed criminal acts. 

In the future Edgar intends to pursue a PhD in clinical psychology and pursue a career as a criminal profiler and research for the government or through academia to improve knowledge and applications of knowledge in this field.
