Telecommunications: Phone Tree (Hunt Group)

A Hunt Group is a good way to have one directory number ring multiple lines in a department. For example extension 1234 may be the department’s main line yet any one person in the department can answer. So instead of adding the line per device we can add the lines of the employees to the hunt group. Therefore when their main 1234 extension is dialed, all users can receive a call either all at once, top down, or have a circular ring pattern.
