Account Management

There are several account management services that we provide at Eastern Washington University.  Since your NetID is the primary account you use to access online services, systems, and computer labs on campus, it's important to manage your account appropriately.  * Please note that your password expires every 120 days without two factor authentication or every 2 years with two factor authentication.

Network Firewall Port Request

Requests from the university community to open firewall ports are subject to approval by the Office of Information Technology.

Security Incident Response

Information Security staff will evaluate and investigate compromised or suspicious EWU systems. Focus is specifically on university-owned machines with access to or containing sensitive employee or student data.

Single-Sign-On (SSO)

May 2, 2019 By

Service to provide universal credential (NETID) access/sign-on to EWU Users. Releases information to applications for authorization and access purposes.

SSL Certificates

May 1, 2019 By

EWU system administrators may request and quickly receive SSL certificates for establishing an encrypted link between a web server and a browser.
