Schedule

8:30AM	Doors Open/Student Line-up
9:30AM	Procession and Ceremony begin Individuals receiving a Master's or Doctoral degree will be hooded on stage. All degree candidates will receive an Eastern diploma cover and will have their name read as they cross the stage.
11:00AM	The ceremony is estimated to last 1 hour and a half. Please stay for the entire ceremony to honor all of the graduates.

About the Speakers

The College of Health Science & Public Health invites applications to serve as the student commencement speaker, representing the Eagle community and providing insight and inspiration to your fellow graduates. Class of ’24 graduates in semester programs are invited to apply to give the student speech at Commencement on May 3, 2024. The student speaker will be selected by a committee of their peers.

Applications will be available in June and the deadline to apply will be in March..

Video and Photography

For those unable to attend the celebration, the ceremony will be streamed live.

A professional photographer will take at least one picture of each graduate as they receive their diploma cover. Graduates will be photographed with no obligation to purchase. Photos will be available for purchase through After Image Visual Services. Please visit their website 2-3 days after the ceremony to view a proof.

Flowers

A limited number of flowers will be available for purchase. Flowers will be arranged by The Commencement Group and proceeds from the sale will benefit the EWU Student Occupational Therapy Association (SOTA).
