As an academic institution, the commencement ceremonies are one of the most important events of the year. It is an opportunity to recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of the people we serve, our students! Every year, we have over several hundred students graduate and several thousand friends and guests attend. These ceremonies would not be possible without the help of dozens of Team Members.
As a Team Member, you can expect to help in roles such as guest wayfinding or student lineup.
Team Member opportunities are limited to EWU faculty and staff. Please work with your supervisors to determine the best way you can adjust your hours to join in. As Commencement Day approaches, you will receive an email with more information regarding your volunteer role, such as a breakdown of your responsibilities, venue maps, FAQs, parking info, and more.
