Approvals & Proposal Submissions

The following three (3) forms are required to be completed prior to any proposal submission.

All proposals for external funding must be received by the OGRD at least 10 working days prior to the funder’s deadline. Earlier communication may allow for phased deadlines.

The first step to start the submission process is to complete the Intent to Prepare Submission Form.

Proposal budgets are built together with OGRD staff and must comply with all university regulations and projection formulas. If OGRD is contacted with enough time before the proposal due date, we can provide proposal review and resources for most proposals.

Proposals are submitted under the auspices of the university, not an individual faculty or staff. The Executive Director of the OGRD is the only authorized signatory that can sign/certify proposal submissions on behalf of the university.

The following forms must be completed prior to proposal submission. Please contact Joanna Matos to gain permission to complete these forms. 

After pressing the ‘Submit’ button at the end of the form, you’ll receive an email confirmation. If you don’t receive the email confirmation, OGRD did not receive your form. Please contact OGRD for assistance.

Institutional Approval Form

All proposals for external funding are submitted under the auspices of the University and must be approved by the appropriate chair/department head and dean. All approvals must be received BEFORE a proposal is submitted for funding.
