Project:

Eastern Washington University seeks architectural pre-design and potential follow-on A/E design services for the renovation of the football stadium located at 1200 Washington Street, Cheney, Washington 99004. The project goals include increasing the seating capacity to 15,000 open-air seats, expanding the donor suite building to accommodate up to 600 guests, providing new restrooms and concessions, and creating a perimeter security enclosure to the entire complex.

Scope of Service:

Pre-design services are to be completed by December 21, 2018 and shall include the development of an overall architectural/functional plan, a phased construction schedule, cost estimates for each phase, and conceptual 3-D drawings and animation of each phase to be used for fund raising. Follow-on design services for any and all construction phases will be negotiated later as they will be dependent upon the success of fundraising efforts. The project’s MACC is to be determined based upon the outcome of the pre-design study. The program & subsequent design will take into account the EWU Strategic Plan, published Campus Master Plan and other published plans as the relate to the project.

Submittal Requirements:

• Qualifications submittals shall be comb-bound 8 ½” x 11” landscape or portrait format.
  • Do not include 11×17 foldouts.
• Provide five (5) copies and one (1) electronic .pdf on CD or thumb drive containing;
  • Cover letter; sub-sections addressing the four criteria for selection which are
    • (a) Qualifications of Key Personnel,
    • (b) Relevant Experience,
    • (c) Performance on Previous Projects,
    • (d) Firm’s Ability to Perform Requested Services;
    • Completed Federal Standard Form 330.
• Please be concise and do not include information that does not pertain/relate to this project.
• Qualifications are being requested for the prime consultant and specialty architectural sub-consultants only and should not include information pertaining to engineering design disciplines such as structural, mechanical, electrical, and civil engineering.
