Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service

January 15 @ 12:00 pm - 3:30 pm

The event will feature three motivational speakers, a workshop on activism, and a panel discussion which are intended to motivate and prepare participants to embrace the principles of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and become advocates for social change. The workshop is part of a broader effort to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion on campus, encouraging students, faculty, and staff to collaborate and advocate for social change, especially for students of color.

The BSU is partnering with EWU’s Africana Studies and other diversity programs, the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, the Multicultural Center, the CAHSS Dean’s office, and community organizations to honor Dr. King’s legacy and promote an inclusive and empowered educational environment.
