Latinx Scholars Panel

A panel of Latinx Scholars, many EWU McNair alum, will discuss their research, their journey to becoming a scholar and attaining their PhD, and what it means to be a Latinx scholar in academia today. Panelists include: Dr. Laura Zamudio-Orozco, Assistant Professor of STEM, College of Education at Heritage University; Dr. Amy Nuñez, Assistant Professor, College of Education at Heritage University; Alexis Guizar-Diaz, PhD Student in Sociology at Portland State University; Dr. Martin Meráz-García, Professor of Chicana/o/x Studies, Eastern Washington University; and Dr. Edwin Elias, Director of Chicana/o/x Studies and Assistant Professor, Eastern Washington University. Register here for a secure zoom link!
