MEChA students have been organizing an Immigration march in Spokane since the early 2000s.
Student Conferences
MEChA through its Izkalli Calmecac Student Conference has housed and feed at least 600 high school student for two and three day on campus visits from various school districts in Washington State where they have offered admission, academic and leadership workshops that have resulted in the recruitment of hundreds of students to EWU.

Radio Show
This radio show was a success thanks to the broadcasting network of Thin Air Community Radio KYRS 92.3FM. Over 40 students recorded and broadcasted their radio shows to over 300,000 people in the Spokane and its surrounding communities.
