Food Pantry

The EWU Food Pantry program is dedicated to ending hunger on our campus, providing access to fresh food and basic hygiene products to EWU students, staff, and faculty.

This program gives the EWU community access to our central food pantry and 9 food cabinets located on the Cheney and Spokane campuses.

EWU students, staff, and faculty are invited to take what they need from the cabinets and central pantry.

There is no need to qualify – the pantry is open to any Eagle in need.

FAQs

Any EWU student, staff or faculty member is welcome to utilize the pantry program. We only ask you present an EWU ID.

We do not ask for income or proof of address. Your Eagle Card swipe collects your ID and email so we are able to contact you in case of any recalls.

Please bring your EWU ID and your own grocery bag. While we sometimes have extra bags for you to use, it is rare.

Guests are encouraged to take what they need while being mindful not to waste food or other items. For in-demand items, we may limit quantity so we are able to serve as many guests as possible.
