Site Testing

AHS uses a variety of standard methods to evaluate the eligibility of archaeological sites and historical buildings for listing in the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) as well as local and state historic registers.

AHS uses a variety of archaeological site testing methods to determine the relative/absolute age of a site, establish and map the vertical and horizontal distribution and content of cultural components, and assess site integrity.
