Burial Treatment Plans

AHS prepares burial treatment plans for clients to comply with local, state, and federal laws for projects within or adjacent to cemeteries. In areas of known or suspected unmarked graves, AHS uses a variety of techniques to identify unmarked graves through hand excavation, remote sensing, and/or mechanical excavation.

All burial investigations are conducted in a respectful and professional manner. When avoidance is not an option for a project, AHS obtains the necessary permits assists with tribal consultation to remove and relocate burials in accordance with applicable laws and the wishes of Indian Tribes and concerned citizens.
