Marc Entze, PhD
Historian
Dr. Entze joined AHS in 2022. He holds a PhD in public history from Washington State University with specialization in U.S. West, Pacific Northwest history, and the built environment. He has conducted research in national, state, and regional archives and museum collections as well as university special collections, corporate archives, and public agencies. Dr. Entze exceeds the Secretary of Interior’s Standards for Professional Historians and has completed multiple determinations of eligibility for the National Register of Historic Places. He has worked as an independent consultant for government agencies, non-profit, and corporate clients. In addition to his extensive editing and publishing experience, he has worked in archives and museums and is a regular presenter at historical conferences.
