Happy New Year and Library Instruction & Support in Winter 2022

Dear Faculty,

Happy New Year to all of you. Hope you all had a good holiday season. As you are getting busy to prepare for the Winter quarter classes, I would like to reach out to you to let you know that as your subject librarian, I look forward to providing library support to you and your students. As always, I am available to provide tailored library instruction for your classes, either in-person or by Zoom. If you would like to schedule an in-person library instruction in our library classroom, please contact me at your earliest convenience to ensure library classroom availability for your preferred date and time.

I will also be happy to design library research guides for your course assignments that are tailored to your students’ specific research needs. In addition, please feel free to encourage your students to contact me directly for any library and research assistance they might need for their projects and assignments.

In closing, I would like to mention that, following the success of the APA 7th Edition workshops series in Fall 2021, the library will be offering this workshop in the Winter quarter as well. The details on the APA Style workshop dates, times, format, and registration will be sent to you in a separate email.

Thank you for our support and I look forward to working with you and your students in 2022.

Stay safe and may the year 2022 be a better one!

Sincerely,
Liya
