Each year between November 13 – 19, people and organizations around the country participate in Transgender Awareness Week to help raise the visibility of transgender people. This week of uplifting and honoring the transgender community leads up to the Transgender Day of Remembrance, which memorializes victims of transphobic violence.

Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week is an annual program where people come together across the country to draw attention to the problems of hunger and homelessness.
