A Few Things to Know About Internships
In the School of Education, we believe internships are critical for our students’ success. We believe internships help to prepare student-centered educators to be professionals, leaders, scholars, and practitioners. This is why we require every student in our graduate programs to complete internship courses.
- Internships are NOT offered during the summer session.

- Internship activities are directed by your professor via Canvas.
- All internship courses are Pass/Fail.
- Health & Physical Education internship courses have prerequisites.
- Students are required to secure their own internship placement.
- All students should follow their program’s specific internship guidelines.
- Internship Verification Form must be submitted to enroll in your internship course on EagleNet (with the exception of Literacy and Early Childhood Education).
