This page contains images illustrating Eastern Washington University’s Assessment Cycle Timeline for both semester and quarter schedules. The diagrams show the annual cycle of data collection, assessment submission, and evidence review, including key deadlines and responsibilities at the department and college levels.
Semester Timeline Summary: The assessment cycle begins in August when the school year starts. In October, department chairs, directors, and program assessment faculty input Program Learning Outcome assessment results from the prior year into Nuventive. In January, college-level associate deans and college assessment committees review evidence of student learning, including interpreted and graphically presented results. In May, departments verify data in the Dashboard-Outcomes tool to ensure data is importing accurately.
Quarter Timeline Summary: The cycle follows the same structure, beginning in September, with the June verification step replacing the May deadline.
