Math Placement

Fear not, this is not a test! Before you can register for math courses at Eastern, we need to determine your math placement. The goal is to recommend a placement that considers your past experience with mathematics as well as other factors that indicate student success, such as your cumulative GPA.  This placement may also be used by other courses in other subjects that have a math prerequisites (such as Chemistry).

Click here to complete Math Placement Survey, where you will use your high school transcript and AP, IB, or CLEP test scores (if applicable) to submit requested information. Students who wish to challenge their math placement may take ALEKS placement test. Talk to an advisor to learn more!
