Hall Council
What is Hall Council?
Hall Council is a student-run organization dedicated to advocating for the interests and welfare of residence hall students, while also providing opportunities for engagement and involvement among students who reside in the residence halls. It is an extension of the Residential Student Association where residents can advocate for hall events and improvements.

RHA Representative Program Coordinator
- Attend weekly RHA meetings, take notes, and provide updates at Hall Council meetings.
- Act as the RHA Representative at RHA meetings (vote, be present for roll call, and encourage residents from your hall to attend RHA).
- Answer questions related to RHA at Hall Council and in the hall.
- Work with the Publicity, Marketing, and Social Media Program Coordinator to promote RHA endeavors in your residence hall.
- Must be involved in planning one program per quarter while in position, taking the lead on one of the programs during the year.
Publicity, Marketing, & Social Media Program Coordinator
- Responsible for marketing programs on the Streeter Instagram.
- Will be in contact with CA’s about marketing their programs.
- Can create other promotional material or use other forms as necessary.
- Must be involved in planning one program per quarter while in position, taking the lead on one of the programs during the year.
Administrative & Newsletter Program Coordinator
- Responsible for taking notes at any Hall Council meeting, formatting the notes, and disseminating them to meeting attendees.
- Responsible for communicating to residents any Hall Council meetings that are rescheduled outside of the regularly scheduled meeting time.
- Responsible for creating and distributing their Residence Hall’s Newsletter in a timely manner.
- Must be involved in planning one program per quarter while in position, taking the lead on one of the programs during the year.
