Additional Information
FAM Program
Summer Launch participants are automatically enrolled in the FAM program, which spans the whole academic year. As part of FAM, you will experience:
- community building and peer mentorship
- personal and professional development
- service-learning opportunities
Between school, work, and extracurricular activities, EWU students lead busy lives. With this in mind, the time commitment of FAM is limited to one cohort gathering per quarter + one individualized meet-up with program advisor per month.
EPIC Adventure
Our outdoor adventure will take place at Fish Lake Regional Park, just four miles from campus. EPIC Adventures provides equipment and transportation, as well as a trained EPIC Adventures guide to lead activities and ensure student safety. All activities are challenge-by-choice; there are options for all skill/comfort levels and abilities, and participants get to choose what they want to do.
EPIC Adventures is EWU’s outdoor program providing guided outdoor trips, trainings, events, and gear rentals to the campus community. Their programs and services are designed to fit your budget and schedule! Focused on introducing EWU students to new activities, EPIC Adventures has programs designed for students of all skill levels. EPIC Adventures puts value into fostering an inclusive community where students can develop confidence, useful skills, and lasting relationships.
