Completing your Academic Advising Requirements
Everyone has to do it.
All freshman student will be requires to complete the following:
- Register for a mandatory academic advising workshop.
- Participate in the mandatory academic advising workshop.
- Submit your academic success plan on Degree Works.
- Please bring a laptop or tablet to your mandatory advising workshop. If you do not have a laptop or tablet, one shall be provided.
In the academic advising workshop, the assigned advisors shall cover:
- Pertinent information that are major specific.
- How to look up and register for courses.
- Develop an academic success plan.
- How to enhance your chances for success.
- Additional useful information.
Students may ask questions to the assigned advisors during the advising workshop.
