Columbia Plateau Tribes
The Columbia Plateau is home to many Indigenous tribes, including the Spokane, Kalispel, Coeur d’Alene, Yakama, Colville, Kootenai, Warm Springs, Shoshone-Bannock, Nez Perce, and Umatilla. These Plateau Tribes share deep cultural, historical, and environmental ties to the land. This collection of resources provides insight into their history, languages, governance, and contemporary issues, highlighting their resilience and contributions to the region.
