What activities are in this camp?
The camp will consist of hands-on activities from a variety of STEM disciplines including chemistry, biology, math, and engineering. Many of the activities will result in a product that participants will get to keep and remember their experience at camp. Facilitators include EWU STEM faculty and staff, volunteers from the Washington State Crime Lab, and volunteers from Delta Dental.
Are there risks?
The risks in participating in camp activities are minimal. The sessions that carry the most risk are a tie-dye activity in which participants’ clothes might get stained and an activity in which participants will have the option of consuming a product that contains dairy products (ice cream).
I signed up, but the camp is out-of-stock.
Space in the camp is limited, but we are keeping a waiting list and will let you know if a space becomes available.
