Faculty Budget Committee

The Faculty Budget Committee (FBC) serves as a representative body that brings faculty voice directly into the Academic Affairs division financial decision-making. Grounded in the principles of participatory budgeting, the FBC gathers faculty input, provides informed guidance, and develops budget recommendations that reflect shared academic priorities. With these priorities established collaboratively, the committee evaluates and determines supplemental funding requests and decision packages for the coming fiscal year. In partnership with university leadership, the FBC promotes understanding of participatory budgeting practices across Academic Affairs and advances financial transparency, equity, and the strategic alignment of resources with faculty-driven academic goals.
