The office of Institutional Research has created a several dashboards based the most commonly requested data elements from academic department chairs, and through the feedback of current department chairs.
The dashboards below have several filter options to focus to a specific academic year, academic period, student level, faculty type, fiscal year, organization, and others.

Tableau Integrated Dashboards
- Budget Statement Overview, Faculty and Staff Roster, and Teaching Effort (restricted access: Department Chairs only access)
- Budget Statement Overview– Academic college/departments budget information such as adopted/original budget, adjusted budget, YTD activities, commitments and remaining balance for selected fiscal year and fiscal period range.
- Faculty and Staff Roster – Current appointments and vacant positions. It includes employee FTE, faculty rank, and other faculty and staff related information
- Faculty Teaching Effort – Several years of teaching effort information
- Academic Chairs Dashboard (restricted access: Department Chairs only access) – Multi-year information about census enrollment, course offerings, historical course trends, and DFW rates

Degree/Major Year-Over-Year Trends – Enrollment, Retention, and Degree Awarded -This integrated Tableau dashboard provides information about enrollment headcount, retention rates, and graduation rates by major/degree/program, student level, college, and department. In addition, the report provides average count of awarded degrees for the selected academic years.
- New! College in the High School (CiHS) Matriculation – This dashboard answers a key question: “How many incoming freshmen were previously College in the High School (CiHS) students?”. Additional this dashboard provides information about incoming CiHS credits that students are bringing to EWU.
- (Census) CiHS Matriculation – Using Census data
- (EofT ) CiHS Matriculation – Using End of Term (EofT) data
- (EofT) Incoming CiHS Credits – This provides an overview of the credits that previous CiHS students bring with them as they matriculate into Eastern Washington University (EWU) as first-time-in-college (FTIC) students.
Priority Registration – Course Fill Rate – This dashboard provides insights into course fill rates during the open registration period. It offers both summary-level data by college and department, as well as detailed views by subject, course, and section.
New! Faculty Teaching Schedule Heat Map – This dashboard shows when faculty are teaching throughout the week. It highlights the distribution of teaching activity across different times of day and days of the week.

- Course Offering with Labor Distribution – This dashboard provides a comprehensive list of course offerings, including faculty information such as their positions and labor distribution, course fill rate, and course enrollment student count.
