In-State Tuition Waiver for Veterans and Dependents<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n<div class=\"gb-container gb-container-5bc2a923\">\n<div class=\"gb-container gb-container-f4f6c6a4\">\n\n<a class=\"gb-button gb-button-dbd3cdac gb-button-text smooth-scroll\" href=\"https:\/\/inside.ewu.edu\/veterans\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/122\/2025\/06\/Veteran-In-State-Tuition-App-AY25-26.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Veterans Tuition Waiver Application<\/a>\n\n\n\n<a class=\"gb-button gb-button-07e856a1 gb-button-text smooth-scroll\" href=\"https:\/\/inside.ewu.edu\/veterans\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/122\/2025\/06\/Spouse-Dependent-In-State-Tuition-App-AY25-26.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Dependent In-State Tuition Application<\/a>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Effective August 1, 2021, in conjunction with&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.congress.gov\/bill\/116th-congress\/house-bill\/7105\/text?overview=closed\">Federal H.R. 7105<\/a>&nbsp;Veterans Health Care and Benefits Improvement Act of 2020, and Washington State policy (<a href=\"https:\/\/app.leg.wa.gov\/rcw\/default.aspx?cite=28b.15.012\">RCW 28B.15.012<\/a>); allows qualifying non-resident veterans and dependents to pay the resident in-state tuition rate.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To qualify students must complete In-state tuition application with appropriate documentation and return to EWU Veterans Resource Center.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"gb-container gb-container-3bae55f2\">\n\n<h2 class=\"gb-headline gb-headline-e2024556 gb-headline-text\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">4. Active Duty Personnel Stationed in WA State<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n<div class=\"gb-container gb-container-9ae3d91a\">\n<div class=\"gb-container gb-container-80094809\">\n\n<a class=\"gb-button gb-button-bc6f7971 gb-button-text smooth-scroll\" href=\"https:\/\/inside.ewu.edu\/veterans\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/122\/2025\/06\/AD-In-state-Tuition-App-AY25-26.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Active Duty In-state Tuition Application<\/a>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Active duty military personnel and their spouses &amp; dependents qualify to pay in-state tuition rates while the military individual is stationed in Washington State. &nbsp;(<a href=\"https:\/\/app.leg.wa.gov\/rcw\/default.aspx?cite=28b.15.012\">RCW 28B.15.012<\/a>)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Exempted resident status is granted upon satisfactory completion of this form, receipt of a copy of military orders, and showing VRC staff the front &amp; back of your current active duty or dependent military ID card.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"gb-container gb-container-648fe5be\">\n\n<h2 class=\"gb-headline gb-headline-8f51a981 gb-headline-text\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">5. WA National Guard Exempt Resident Status<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n<div class=\"gb-container gb-container-ef78d855\">\n<div class=\"gb-container gb-container-52974699\">\n\n<a class=\"gb-button gb-button-fa185322 gb-button-text smooth-scroll\" href=\"https:\/\/inside.ewu.edu\/veterans\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/122\/2025\/06\/NG-In-State-Tuition-App-AY25-26.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">National Guard In State Tuition Application<\/a>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Non-resident National Guard personnel taking&nbsp;over six credits, qualify to pay in-state tuition rates while in the Washington National Guard.&nbsp; (<a href=\"https:\/\/app.leg.wa.gov\/rcw\/default.aspx?cite=28b.15.012\">RCW 28B.15.012<\/a>)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Exempted resident status is granted upon satisfactory completion of this form, showing VRC staff your current military ID and documentation from commanding officer or personnel office verifying current Unit of Assignment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>2025 &#8211; 2026 Forms Send completed forms and documentation to the VRC Office via Email or in person.
