EWU Symposium

Student Research and Creative Works Symposium

May 14 & 15, 2019

The Student Research & Creative Works Symposium is a two day event at which students from disciplines across campus can present their research and creative works to the university community and the general public. Students can showcase their academic accomplishments, explore the research of their peers, and interact with students and faculty across all academic disciplines. All students are encouraged to participate in the Symposium as an integral component of their higher education.

Student research and creative works sessions are free to attend and open to the public.

Schedule

May 14th - Student Creative Works Expand

May 14th will be the Student Creative Works presentations and performances. Appetizers and drinks will be provided for presenters and their guests.

May 15th - Student Research, Aging Policy Fair Expand

Student Research

May 15th will be our Student Research sessions. These will demonstrate undergraduate and graduate level research (poster & oral presentations) in coordination with faculty mentors.

Aging Policy Fair

We are also planning a joint event with the EWU Center for the studies on Aging called the Aging Policy Fair at EWU Cheney Campus. The option for the Aging Policy Fair will be a separate selection in the symposium application. Please be sure that you have appropriate research for this session.

Light refreshments (coffee, water, pastries, etc.) will be provided for presenters and their guests.

  • Students, faculty and staff from EWU and Community Colleges of Spokane can participate
  • Anyone can volunteer
  • Anyone can attend
