Consent cannot be inferred from silence, passivity, or lack of active resistance.&nbsp; There is no consent where there is a threat of force of violence or any other form of coercion, intimidation, deception, physical or psychological.&nbsp; Consent must be established through clear words or actions.<strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>EXAMPLES OF NON-CONSENT<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sexual activity is&nbsp;<strong>non-consensual<\/strong>&nbsp;when the Complainant is incapable of consent due to any of the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Force or threat of force<\/strong>&nbsp;(physical violence, restraint or threat of violence used during sex is not consent)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Lack of clear words or actions<\/strong>&nbsp;(silence or lack of participation before or during sex is not consent)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Resistance<\/strong>&nbsp;either verbally or physically (asking to stop or pushing away is not consent)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Withdrawal of consent<\/strong>&nbsp;(If a person initially agrees to sex but withdraws consent before or during sex you must stop!)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Deception<\/strong>&nbsp;(If you trick the person into having sex because they believe you are someone else you don&#8217;t have consent)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Coercion<\/strong>&nbsp;(If you repeatedly ask the person to engage in sex, intimidate them or pressure them you may not have consent)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Incapacitated due to alcohol \/ drugs<\/strong>&nbsp;(slurred speech, difficulty balancing, vomiting, incoherent, unusual behavior, passed out are all signs of incapacitation and unable to give consent).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"gb-container gb-container-956e98ed\"><div class=\"gb-inside-container\">\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">Consent Tea Video<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">This video illustrates varies ways you may or may not obtain consent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-vimeo wp-block-embed-vimeo wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Tea and Consent (Clean)\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/128105683?dnt=1&amp;app_id=122963\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay;
