Rogers High School<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I have been teaching for 6 years. I spent the first two years of my career at Riverside High School and Riverside Middle School and have since been at Rogers High School. During that time, I have taught Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, and Intermediate Math. The majority of my work has been with Algebra 1 students; which is also the group that I currently teach. I have been involved in multiple projects including a mathematics project targeted at improving the level of rigor in Algebra 1 classrooms, a literacy project aimed at improving students annotation and synthesis abilities, and another transitions project geared toward supporting students socially and emotionally in their transition year between high school and postsecondary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thomas McNeiece &#8211; Math Teacher &#8211; John. R. Rogers High School<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I have been teaching for 9 years, 8 of which were at Lewis and Clark High School in Spokane. I have taught numerous courses, but have been teaching AP BC-calculus and Algebra 2 most recently. Through my years of teaching I have become National Board certified in Adolescent and Young Adult Mathematics and I have participated the Riverpoint Advanced Mathematics Project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Joshua Krone &#8211; Mathematics Professor &#8211; Spokane Community College<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My first teaching job was as an emergency substitute for Castle Rock High School during the \u201906-\u201907 academic year.&nbsp; I continued teaching as a graduate student and later as an adjunct at the University of Montana in Missoula.&nbsp; After a 3 year stint working for a pharmaceutical company, I moved to Spokane in 2012 to teach at SCC, where I am currently on the tenure track.&nbsp; My interests include improving mathematics literacy, helping students transition from high school to post-secondary education, highlighting the use of mathematics in industry, and instilling a love of learning.&nbsp; I am also interested in learning more about growth mind set as applied to mathematics.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Chris Dunn &#8211; Math Teacher &#8211; John R.
