The steps the students need to complete\u00a0<em><strong>before they begin working <\/strong><\/em>are outlined on the <a href=\"https:\/\/inside.ewu.edu\/student-employment\/international-students-working-on-campus\/\">International Students Working On Campus page<\/a>.<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>Supervisor Requirements<\/h2>\n<p>An important piece of International Students&#8217; eligibility requirements\u00a0is obtaining a job offer letter from you. This allows them to apply for their Social Security Number which they must have before beginning their new job.<\/p>\n<p>The job offer letter must contain the following items:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Letterhead stationary<\/li>\n<li>The student&#8217;s name<\/li>\n<li>Job title<\/li>\n<li>Short description of duties<\/li>\n<li>Employment start date<\/li>\n<li>Number of hours per week they will be working<\/li>\n<li>Supervisor\u2019s name and telephone number<\/li>\n<li>Supervisor&#8217;s signature<\/li>\n<li>A space for the EWU tax ID (OGI will enter the EWU tax ID later)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Provide a copy of this letter to the student along with a completed Non-Work Study Authorization Form.<\/strong>\u00a0The Non-Work Study Authorization Form is available on the <a href=\"https:\/\/inside.ewu.edu\/student-employment\/student-policies\/hiring-documents\/\">Hiring Documents<\/a> page of this website. They will then need to make an appointment with OGI to continue the hiring process outlined above.
