Apparel and Screen Print

Eastern Washington University under the guidance of the State Legislature, existing statutes, and Office of Financial Management is working with Washington State Correctional Industries (CI) to meet purchasing targets.  These include goods and services that are produced or provided, in whole or in part, from Class II inmate work state contract programs operated by the Department of Corrections.

As a result, EWU will purchase  screen print items (t-shirts. polos, hats, etc.) both non- logo and logo from Correctional Industries. As always, any purchases with the EWU logo need to be pre- approved by MarCom, 102 Hargreaves Hall, 509.359.6336.

The contact information for screen printing and embroidered items from CI is as follows: CI Consumables CI- Brand Manager of Textiles

Please contact the purchasing department if CI cannot meet the departmental needs.  If Correctional Industries cannot be used, all the applicable procurement bidding processes and procedures will apply.  The bidding process applies when a single order exceeds $10,000 or if the annual dollars spent with a particular vendor for repetitive small purchases of similar commodities exceeds $10,000.
