Sean San Pedro – Co-Head Editor<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sean San Pedro (he\/him) is a double major in Creative Writing and Technical Communications. He grew up in the PNW reading and watching fantasy and sci-fi stories. Sean jumps between writing poetry and fiction but often writes pieces that deal with cultural and queer identity along with dabbling in surrealism. Outside of reading and writing for school or himself, he’s probably bingeing Star Wars<\/em>, buying a little sweet treat, or planning\/getting his next tattoo.<\/p>\n\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

Melanie Jones – Co-Head Editor <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Melanie Jones is a senior at EWU with a major in Creative Writing and a minor in Screenwriting. She fell in love with storytelling on the carpet in the reading corner of her fourth-grade classroom and has aspired to be an author ever since. When she’s not obsessing over the fictional worlds and characters of others, she attempts to work on her own novel and plan a D&D campaign. She is so excited and honored to be co-head editor of this issue!<\/p>\n\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

Charly Fetzer – Head Poetry Editor<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Charly Fetzer (she\/her) is an undergraduate in her junior year at EWU majoring in Technical Communications with a Creative Writing minor. She fell in love with poetry as soon as she discovered Mary Oliver and her creative mind. Charly is likely spending most of her time with her people, usually giggling and taking photos simultaneously. She feels very grateful for a space to share her writing alongside other creators, and hopes for more opportunities to do so!<\/p>\n\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

Jaedyn Damrill – Associate Poetry Editor<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jaedyn Damrill is a Creative Writing major with a minor in Design. Her relationship with reading began in the second grade as she learned she could transport herself into countless lives. After discovering her love for reading she realized that she too could create something that one day might mean as much to someone else as other books have meant to her. Soon after, poetry became very important to her as a form of self-expression. She is so excited to be a part of Northwest Boulevard and get to share other people’s art.<\/p>\n\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

Stormy Byrne – Head Fiction Editor<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stormy Byrne is a current sophomore at EWU, her major is Political Science and she has two minors: Creative Writing and Criminal Justice. She’s from Las Vegas but grew up in a small town in Arizona called Kingman. Stormy has been writing creatively since she was a child, inspired by her father, who is a writer himself. In her free time, she is often cooking up a new recipe or spending time with her cat, Von.<\/p>\n\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

Kira Loweree – Associate Fiction Editor<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kira Loweree (she\/her) is a third year History major who has always had a passion for writing creatively. She enjoys spending her time in Spokane at open mic nights around the city. In her free time she writes poetry and is currently writing her urban fantasy novel. This is the second creative arts magazine she has worked on and she hopes to continue helping Northwest Boulevard<\/em> in future endeavors.<\/p>\n\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

Caroline Cunningham – Head Nonfiction Editor<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Caroline Cunningham is a transfer to EWU from SFCC, majoring in Creative Writing. A lifelong reader, she loves all genres and always has a recommendation for your next great read. She didn’t always know she wanted to write full time\u2014she studied opera, manicuring, physics, and engineering before settling on her creative writing degree. Now, when she’s not doing her unassigned reading, she keeps herself grounded with knitting, long walks, and chatting with her cat, Artemis, over a cup of tea.<\/p>\n\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

Taylor Hershberger – Associate Nonfiction Editor<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Taylor Hershberger is a transfer student from Yakima Valley College. He is a junior at EWU, majoring in Creative Writing. He has loved reading and writing since childhood and is particularly drawn to literary fiction and quiet horror. His current favorite author is M. R. James, whose ghost stories continue to influence his interest in atmosphere and the uncanny. When he’s not buried in schoolwork, Taylor enjoys hiking and spending time with his dog, Miley.<\/p>\n\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

Caydyn Nelson – Head Art Editor<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Caydyn Nelson is currently a junior at EWU working towards their BA in Creative Writing with a Sexuality and Queer Studies minor. While art as a whole isn’t exactly their forte, they’ve been creating for about as long as they’ve been writing (that is to say: a long time!). Sketching, doodling, concept art… whatever comes to mind. What they love most is the way that it allows people to fully express themselves and their views in ways that words just can’t get across. They look forward to seeing everyone’s incredible work and unique forms of self-expression!<\/p>\n\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

Hazel Collins – Associate Art Editor<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hazel Collins is a sophomore at EWU majoring in Creative Writing with minors in Psychology and Film. She has been on and off writing since childhood and has always had a curiosity and appreciation for the arts. Her current favorite writer is Richard Silken. She is very excited to work with the incredible editors at Northwest Boulevard<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n
