February Diversity Essentials Workshop: ‘Have I Ever Said That?’

The Office for Diversity and Inclusion is pleased to announce our next monthly offering in our Diversity Essentials series, which is open to all members of the campus community.

Have I Ever Said That? Identifying and Responding to Microaggressions on Wednesday, Feb. 24, from noon-2 p.m.

This workshop is available to all faculty, staff, students and administrators. It will be facilitated through Zoom.

Back by popular demand is our original microaggressions workshop with video and discussion. Microaggressions are common and happen in our everyday life. The effects of microaggressions have lasting negative impacts on the recipients.  Learn what microaggressions are and how easily they occur, including: 

  • Identifying when microaggressions occur
  • Learning the impacts of microaggressions
  • Strategies for addressing microaggressions
