The Career Center is excited to work with you all again this year. We are here to help Eagles from freshman year to beyond graduation.
Please check out the information and helpful links below to learn how we are working diligently this quarter to help students develop essential skills for career success.
Appointments: Our career advising appointments are offered both in-person and virtually for the fall quarter. We work with students from freshman year to beyond graduation.
Drop-In Hours: Students can stop by our office during drop-in hours to get peer help from our student staffed Career Squad. We provide help with resumes, job and internship searches, interview prep and other resources.
Career Launch Labs
Our career advisors and internship coordinator will hold several virtual Career Launch Labs throughout the quarter. The Career Launch Labs will cover the following topics:
• Interview Prep
• What do I want to be when I grow up? (Experiential Learning Edition)
• Internships 101
• Graduate School Applications
Covid-19 Internship Updates: Students should check to see if their internship or volunteer site falls under the most recent Covid-19 updates.
Krumble Internship Stipend: Students participating in unpaid internships at nonprofit or governmental agencies can apply through the Career Center for a one-time stipend of $3,000. Several students are selected each quarter. Students should apply by Dec. 6 to be considered for winter quarter funding.
Presentations and Partnerships
We encourage EWU faculty, staff and student groups to join us in career development for our students through collaboration. You can collaborate with us by hosting in-person or virtual career development presentations.
There are many other ways we collaborate with campus partners. If you have an idea for a project, we are happy to discuss your ideas. Some options are listed on our Faculty and Staff web page or you can request a presentation.
We have a variety of content on our website to help with career development.
