Badradin has been selected for admission to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.psu.edu\">Penn State University<\/a>\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sia.psu.edu\/academics\/degree-programs\/master-of-international-affairs\">Master of International Affairs<\/a> (MIA) degree program within the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sia.psu.edu\">School of International Affairs<\/a>.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>From the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sia.psu.edu\/academics\/degree-programs\/master-of-international-affairs\">Master of International Affairs<\/a>\u00a0website:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>In this two-year program, [students] explore the most prominent sociocultural theories while learning how to handle international crises and implement global solutions.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Badradin will graduate from EWU in 2023 with a major in International Affairs and a minor in Political Science. For his 2022 Summer Research Internship, Badradin worked with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ewu.edu\/experts\/kristin-edquist\/\">Dr. Kristin Edquist<\/a> and PhD Candidate <a href=\"https:\/\/inside.ewu.edu\/mcnair\/cohorts\/2016-2017\/alberto-felixbeltran\/\">Alberto Felix Beltran<\/a>\u00a0on a research project titled <em>Water Politics: Changing Geo-politics and Changing Climate in the Nile Basin<\/em>. <a href=\"https:\/\/inside.ewu.edu\/mcnair\/badradin-mohammed-attends-conferences\/\">Badradin has presented<\/a> his research at the <a href=\"https:\/\/blackphdnetwork.com\">Black Doctoral Network Conference<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/inside.ewu.edu\/mcnair\/international-studies-conference\/\">International Studies Association Midwest Annual Conference<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The EWU McNair staff are excited for Badradin and we know he will contribute high quality, impactful research in any graduate program he attends.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Congratulations to EWU McNair Scholar Badradin Mohammed!
