McNair Research Conference and Graduate Fair"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Each year the &nbsp;Educational Opportunity Association hosts its National McNair Student Conference and Graduate Fair at the Lake Lawn Resort in Delavan, WI. This year<span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">&nbsp;McNair Scholars Raquel Ramos and Virginia Morales attended and presented their research. <\/span><span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">The National McNair Research Conference has been designed to provide undergraduate students the opportunity to present their research in a professional and nurturing environment. Workshops, panel discussions and activities introduce McNair Scholars to the nature of graduate study as well as provide helpful tips and suggestions in writing an effective graduate admissions <\/span>application<span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">. (Information borrowed from&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.maeopp.org\/content.aspx?page_id=22&amp;club_id=254413&amp;module_id=177605#top\">The Educational Opportunity Association<\/a>.) After their presentations and hard work, they debriefed with McNair staff on their experience and what they learned.
