Dr. Mar\u00eda Isabel Morales<\/strong> defended her dissertation: “Conocimiento y Testimono: An Exploratory Case Study of Mexican American Children of (im)migrants Learning With(in) Cherry Orchards” and completed her PhD in Cultural Studies and Social Thought in Education at Washington State University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Dr. Araceli Frias<\/strong> defended her dissertation: “Reconceptualizing Graduate School Preparation: Examining Undergraduate Scholars\u2019 Responses to a Critical Race Curriculum” and completed her PhD in Education from Washington State University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n Dr. Cuantemoc Mexica<\/strong> defended his dissertation: “Warring Scripts: The Borderland Narratives of Cormac McCarthy and Eduardo Antonio Parra” and completed his PhD in Comparative Literature from University of Washington.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We want to extend a special congratulations to the following EWU McNair Alumni who have recently completed their PhD!
