Hey everyone! I\u2019m excited to be part of this amazing program and to continue supporting Eastern Washington University students on their academic journeys. I\u2019ve held multiple roles at Eastern, including DEI council member, Eaglestore Student Lead, and GSA for the McNair Program. I\u2019m very happy to be back at my alma mater to help support students both academically and socially!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A little about me: I\u2019m Mexican and moved from Mexico to Washington when I was 8 about to be 9 years old. I grew up in Okanogan, WA, a tiny town near the Canadian border. I recently graduated from EWU with my master\u2019s degree in social work. I also completed my undergraduate degree at EWU in Psychology, with minors in Art and Spanish. As I mentioned, I\u2019ve had a variety of roles at EWU, and I\u2019m just thrilled to be here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some fun facts about me: I love plants, my dog Cookie Boy, crafting and painting, and\u2014since I\u2019m a huge talker\u2014getting to know new people!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you\u2019re interested in grad school, please stop by our office to chat about your academic goals. I\u2019m excited to meet everyone and to be a support system here at EWU!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
