Kayla has been selected for the Novelis Aluminum STEM Scholarship! The &#8216;Novelis&#8217; established the STEM Scholarship pilot program for North America with a desire to honor our talented and dedicated people, while also hoping to inspire the next generation of engineers, technologists and scientists. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kayla, a McNair Scholar, was chosen for her passion for research and her commitment to pursuing a Ph.D. As part of her summer research experience, she was also accepted into WSU&#8217;s Hemp Program, which partners with the Global Hemp Innovation Center at Oregon State University, University of California \u2013 Davis, and the University of Nevada \u2013 Reno. Kayla also got to present her research at the 2024 Cannabis Research Conference in Fort Collins, Colorado.
