She is a member of the Alpha Phi sorority and has been actively involved in the Panhellenic Council at EWU. For her McNair Summer Research Internship she worked with&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ewu.edu\/experts\/kayleen-islam-zwart\/\"><strong>Dr. Kayleen Islam-Zwart<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;as her mentor to explore attitudes towards the criminal legal system.
