Monica Miranda<\/strong> graduated from Eastern Washington University with a BS Applied Developmental Psychology and a minor in Spanish, as well as a certificate in Child and Family Support. She wants to research the psychology of Latinx and Hispanic communities. In the summer of 2022, under the guidance of Dr. Shanna Davis<\/a>, she explored the psychological effects of going to K-12 school in a language other than your first language. In the future, she hopes to be able to open her own counseling practice where she can help the Latinx\/Hispanic community access affordable mental health services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Monica will be attending Pacific University\u2019s Master in Applied Psychological Science program in Fall 2023.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n
